I've no idea who recorded NMW first, but it is common knowledge that Meat's nose was put out of joint by the single release of the Boyzone version.

Probably, given away by Meat saying he knew the proper way to do the song. Hmmmmm.

Yeah, pretty decent vocal from Meat and much better production/arrangement & great BV's (love BV's well forward in the mix).
