Maybe, Jim is just fed up w/ the machine of industry? Maybe his illness gave him a new look on life. I do not for one second believe that Jim is slow in the writing process. I believe he is very prolific in that aspect. THe problem is with the final product. I think that stems from eccentricities of the creative process and creative mind. I think most recently - Jim has one goal - he is not working for anything other than his dream project! If that exists in perfection, yet never released, well i think Jim will be satisfied! That being said creative minds never truly stop working... and for that i'd love to be in his presence because even a conversation with Jim contains the poetic humor found in his songs... | |
