I recently picked up the Dirty Harry series on DVD and I was blown away by the performance of Andrew Robinson as the Scorpio Killer. I also immediately began drawing parallels to Heath Ledger's The Joker from Dark Knight.
The complete disregard for human life. Their "insane person" mannerisms when walking, running, or just moving around in general. The feeling that at any moment they will snap, and you sit in eager anticipation waiting for it to happen. Even the reaction during getting their asses kicked (random black guy for Scorpio and Batman for Joker
Ironically when I went on IMDB to read more about the film, there was a thread about the very thing I am addressing!
I was wondering if anyone else that has seen both of these films have any opinion on my comparison.
