| I think what really diminishes the value of a political discussion is when someone dismisses the truth as a "scare tactic." It's pretty clear to me that almost everything Obama pushes through Congress with a party-line vote equals less liberty for someone and more handouts for his political base. You might have a greater tolerance for government intervention than I do, but from my vantage point, it's pretty hard not to characterize him as a socialist. It might be unpleasant and scary, but at some point you've gotta call it like you see it.
