I have a Bat tatoo'd on the inside of my left ankle that I had done about 2 years ago.
It's done in Black and grey.
It looked better just after it had been done as the blood came up just under the surface of the skin giving it a nice blood colour.
It's positioned as if it's a link in an anklet chain that is tattoo'd right around my ankle.
It's not finished yet, I only just had the chain shaded last week and I have booked into have 'Occupo Nox Noctis - JRS' writen under the bat in a few weeks time.
