I too often feel that way, and I think there are two reasons... One, so much of Jim's Batman was recycled that you've heard it before... so it loses the excitement.... and two Scaramouche's songs feel as if they are about Batman... much of Jim's feels as if it could be about anything... and I think that comes from the recycling again. Jim's Wonderful Toys is great because it feels that it was actually written about the Joker (although the music is recycled)... but something like "I need all the love that I can get was obviously not written for Batman and doesn't seem to have much to do with Catwoman specifically. It is a good song... but we've heard it. Still the Children was written for Batman... but it is now being put in Neverland.
