Meats voice has fluctuated between fucked and less fucked since 1979. Can't say it's improving - but its not likely to in a man approaching retirement age, and it is going to do the 'teenage love interest' thing less and less justice the older he becomes. I'm pretty sure Jim would acknowledge that in any new material. You'll never get meat sounding like Bat 1 or even 2 again, but with multiple takes and the kind of effect synthesis made possible by modern production, I'm sure Jim would be able to get some quality out of it.
