| I watched a really cool documentary today called: "Meat Loaf: Behind The Music Remastered". This is a revamp of a documentary first shown in 1998 without the word "Remastered" in the title. They interview Kasim and he looks very young and then they talk to him a few minutes later and he looks much older. The documentary has loads and loads of JS content. Like they show part of the music video for "Dance In My Pants", where at first Jim is looking through a peep show window at Karla De Vito (and he really does look very charasmatic) and then he is standing up at the piano singing: "I'm a lover not a dancer!" I loved the King Kong comparison about Meat coming out of the jungle for the first time in years (to make Bat 2)and the photographers being told not to scare him by taking pictures. I was happy to see JD getting a thank you credit at the end. Don also got one. For anyone who gets British Sky TV, I saw it on "Sky Anytime" but it is being shown at 9pm (UK time) tomorrow (Monday) on "Sky Arts One". It is followed by "Meat Loaf: In Search Of Paradise". Hopefully posters in other countries will be able to see it. Its a must for any Jim fan. | |
