| During the Meat Loaf documentary described in the previous thread, Meat was remembering the first time they played the video (or film) for BOOH the song. The tv network's tape started to stretch and everything kept going slow and sounding very deep and strange. Meat left the hotel in America and wound up in Toronto, Canada, four days later, with no memory of what had happened. Thinking about the importance of videos that was starting in the seventies before MTV in the eighties, do posters on this board prefer to see the music with visuals on television or do they prefer to hear the pure music on the radio or blasting out of stereo speakers? Did video really kill the radio star as far as Jim fans are concerned? | |
