And I don't get why some people keep referring to Smeghead as if he was the board's cornerstone and The One Essential that would change it all. I think we had some pretty good threads lately. Less traffic due to less bitching, repeating of same-old-same-old etc., but what's wrong with that? -- There's nothing Smeghead could do about lack of JimNews, too, so what. The board is what we make it. Also: We didn't even have a board (only the mailing list) until 1998, IIRC, and Smeghead joined around 2000, I think. At the time he was a militant Loafer, btw :) Just for the [Rockman] record. | |
