We're not still struggling with the subjective opinions of people enjoying the atmosphere of a Meat concert vs the harsh objective analysis of Meat's pitch and timing in the cold light of day while listening to a CD, are we?
That said, SOME of the songs are consistently still good on disc: He can still do Bat Out Of Hell pretty damn well. Lemon always sounds good to me, too. (I'm actually quite fond of the way he now does the "It's Always Breaking In Half!" bit in the middle… It's not what Jimmy wrote, but hell I like the variation).
But then there's Anything For Love. O.M.G. He's sounded like he's in the middle of a stroke with this song for more than 10 years now, I see no reason for this to suddenly be any different, sadly.
It'll be one big mixed bag, as always. :/
