| Ah. "Soul Auctioneer," apparently. One of those lyrics that I can never understand until I read it, and then realize its perfectly intelligible as sung and yet such an incongruous, rarely used or wholly invented phrase, that my brain refuses to dechiper it within the context of the song. For the interested, check out www.rickbrantley.com Rick wrote several songs on HCTB, and there's lyrics to a very different version of Meat's "Prize Fight Lover," as well as to "Peace on Earth," which may or not be the exact same song as on HCTB. You can also find Rick live doing his "Prize Fight Lover Soul Auctioneer" on Youtube. It pretty much a whole different song. | |
