I e-mailed Al once to ask why he didn't parody IDAFL. He didn't reply. I know a couple of lesser talents have done it, but Al missed the boat on that one.

Holding Out for a Hero - "Hero" in the sense of a submarine sandwich

Its All Coming Back to Me Now - No idea what the parody title is, but it would be a good one. Maybe "They're All Yelling Back to Me Now," about a baseball Umpire? Top of my head.

Really, any of Jim's songs are good parody subjects because of his over the top style. But generally, for a parody, you probably want to stick with the hits.

I've personally written full lyrics for: Breed'em Like Sheep, A Riff is a Terrible Thing to Waste, Dressed in the Dark, and Sometimes an Album Takes Too Damn Long (TIWIMTBY). I think these were all shared back on the old Jim mailing list at gospel.iinet in the last decade.
