| I think Dave makes a good point about record companies NOT exaggerating sales when they are trying to avoid paying royalties. I can't remember which documentary its in but Jim gives an interview in which he says that the number of copies sold depends on which accountant you talk to. Of course Jim should be proud of his place on the list but I didn't really feel (IMHO) that the list should have been part of the Evening Standard ad or the "official" website. Because Michael Jackson and AC/DC beat Jim on that list. I thought the whole ad should be Jim's artwork (which I love) or, if they are going to insist on a list, then list all of Jim's achievments. | |
