The word Apocalypse comes from the ancient Greeks and to them it meant something more like a 'revealing' or 'unveiling', but it's been twisted into simply meaning total destruction. So post-apocalypse would *really* mean something like enlightenment ;) Post-anything, imho, is just lazy labelling. Like no-one can be arsed (or they don't know) to say what a thing is, just that it's not that other thing that came before it.

But I always thought it was a Mad Max type affair, with chrome plated cities to protect them from noxious gases, etc... etc...
