I'm not saying the fans will be dissapointed. Only some people who have worked on all the different productions representing Jim. > I don't think the cast I saw was > quite as good as the German ones, but then again many of > the german actors have played it a lot more. I think this is all they were saying. They were not saying that its awful or an artistic failure. Dave showed his ignorance when he told me not to believe everything I invent but I wasn't inventing anything. The rumors I have heard are pretty close to what you are saying. > The ending is > back to the old one, which doesn't bother me. Ah. Steve Rinkoff has worked very hard on updates. Perhaps going back to the old ending bothered him. I don't know. I am just guessing. > I can't tell you which verison I like best. Since Dave has seen many versions, it would be nice if he could do the same, instead of just throwing out a flippant comment. > I do remember the original verison as > being more powerful musically, but the it didn't have the > new red boots scene, which is SO great. I can't decide. Steve Rinkoff's field of expertise is the music. Perhaps he was thinking along the same lines as you. That the original version was more powerful musically. | |
