| Steinsongs FINALLY in Rock Band | |

| There are over 2000 songs available for Rock Band but none of them penned by Jim Steinman.... until now. Total Eclipse and Paradise are now available (for Xbox anyway, not sure on other systems). Not sure if you need Rock Band 3 but I'm pretty sure that's the only way to do the duet nature of the songs since that option wasn't available in RB2 if memory serves. I did pretty great on vocals for both songs but the guitar parts on Paradise kicked my arse. Granted I haven't played for a while but even with practice I'd probably have some trouble. Haven't tried the other instruments yet. And yes they are the original master recordings and the full versions of the song, not radio edits (though they both cut out a bit early). They sound AMAZING in fact; a shame that the music game industry is in a freefall (rival Guitar Hero was basically canned this week), as now it will be unlikely that any more of Jim's songs (or even Meat's in general) will be made available. Would have loved BOOH or Rock and Roll Dreams, not to mention remastered Dead Ringer tracks. *sigh* Anyway, since I believe Jim has to sign off on such things, if Jacqueline can send along my thanks....
