| All content © MLFUCK 09 Jul 2010, 16:51 I was not telling anyone here not to like Bat 3, What I was saying Bat 3 left a bad taste in my mouth and just because I don't like the feeling it left me with and I talk about my feelings in the press about how bad it felt to be there . Example : have them take Patti off ACBTMN and put Marion (Don't get me wrong I love Marion) because Alan Kovac managed her and was trying to break her using me. Blackmailed by the US record Co.on the first single which should have been "Blind as a Bat" and so forth and so on. What I got mad about was someone saying that I was not entitled to express my opinion 3 years after the fact. All I see written here is that "we are entitled to our opinions " Does that mean I'm not. If you like Bat 3 that's great play it forever and love it . Finally I went to the accountants responsible for payments and asked "we can't be on budget can we" . they started looking at payments at that point we were 600,000 over and with so much work to do I couldn't keep fighting I had to finish what I had. The accountants were fired that day. It was their job. There are more stories of the naked truth to bat 3 09 Jul 2010, 18:05 Quote: Originally Posted by allrevvedup so they were being given orders by the record company and your management to let it slide? if so, i can only assume it's because those involved saw the cost would be worth it against the potential earning power. Get rid of Monster and a couple of others. The lyrics on monster are just not well structured . 09 Jul 2010, 18:35 Quote: Originally Posted by Smithie Thanks for sharing that with us, Meat. She a great great lady and she did not deserve what happen to her and no matter who did what to me, The buck stops with me and I was wrong not to actually just walk away or just punch someone. I love Patti and she got screwed. M 09 Jul 2010, 18:43 Quote: Originally Posted by DazLoaf01 How do you feel now about non-Jim songs on Bat3? Steinman was the producer. He was sent a check in Dec. of 2005 . The largest amount every paid to a producer in History. With a contract to produce, the contract was never signed, even though we were promised that it was and the fax machine was just broken. (Now we have selective amnesia) It was returned unsigned with the check in Jan. of 2006 by his lawyer and David Sonnenberg . They ask for more than twice the amount. The record Co. and Kovac were so mad and they all said they would never pay that kind of money. They all said move on. So, it was not all my fault and I will not take all the blame from that Steinman camp . Who have said it was all my fault that he did not produce. We had a deal and then Sonnenberg took back over and screwed it up. So all of you who blame me should understand they are 2 sides to every story. The money was coming from the record co. They took it as an insult. Now, all that will happen is that what I have written here is nothing but lies of course. Because I am the only one who is in the wrong , all the time, every time, till the end of time. Dude , Jim did want to produce he has even written me and said he was heart broken by the whole thing. Jim's lawyer came at us first. Did you know that part of the story. No ! because you only get a one sided view. M 11 Jul 2010, 18:44 Quote: Originally Posted by Steve6 But you sued Jim which should have never happened. Dude , you people have know idea . You only think you know the truth. You are all walking in the dark . Of course money was an issue. Commissions to lawyers , agents and managers. You think in a very small world. 11 Jul 2010, 18:49 Quote: Originally Posted by duke knooby Meat, appologies for asking as it's none of my business, but do you know if Jim had a new albums worth of material ready, by the time things started to fall apart around dec 2005/jan 2006? Don't really care what you believe . because you don't really matter do you !! 11 Jul 2010, 19:07 Quote: Originally Posted by Steve6 But why didn't he produce it then? If Jim did not want to produce why did he send me an email saying you broke my heart. Yes I'm blaming Sonenberg. You don't know him and he has screwed Jim over and over again and Jim stays there. Why I will never know. He had other managers when we made the deal and he went back to Sonenberg. Jim wanted to wait to start the record , So Sonenberg used a strategy with the record Co. that backfired and did nothing but pissed them off. Dude , Sonenberg sued me in 1981 for 100 million dollars and Jim was part of it. He took everything from me, So when a record co . tells you record or be sued. You record, walk in my shoes . Having Record co. president showing up telling me , how this song must stay on the record. You have know Idea, you think I have the money to fight a record co. Some of you live with your head in the sand , your fingers in your ears , and wear blinders . I feel bad for you ! Live in the real world and see what it's like. I am being blamed by you, You said I was not telling the truth and you don't believe a word of it. Jim tried to leave David in 2005. What happen there I don't know , I can only imagine , the threats of lawsuits and what holes David has dug for Jim. I hope Jim and I will work together again. Not because either of of us need it but because we should. The work we have done together is remarkable. I love Jim with all my Heart. I have said he was in the top three things of my life the other two Pearl and Amanda. I'm sure he has plans for the future, and what his next musical endeavour will be...Bat musical etc. You said Rinkoff and Sonenberg are parasites, well that's your own opinion. I did hear Steinman wasn't able to play the piano anymore after his stroke and ill-health issues that may well be the truth who knows. Steinman wasn't involved with Bat 3 because of health issues that's what I heard, and Meat did mentioned it. Now the story has been changed and it's managerial issues, and we've only found this out 4 years years later hmm..can someone make sense of it? That story has never changed Jim had health issues and I for one believed him. If they would have let him or he would have signed the contract and not at the time had they said the fax machine was broken , then his reps made other really stupid demands . I would have fought long and hard for Jim no matter what anyone said . The record co would not have threatened me , Sonenberg and kovac would have not gone to war. I was talking to Jim on the phone at the time, his hand after the stroke was giving him trouble. I was willing to wait. After you have a deal in place that has been worked on for over a year. Then the rug pulled out, people are just not very happy. Insults form over at the rockman site . That is hard to believe? NO !! Really ,they do things like that. Those nice people . I feel nothing but love from there !! M 15 Jul 2010, 08:39 Quote: Originally Posted by duke knooby Was Jim just going to be the producer this time? What I have written here is what I was being told the last 10 days of the year in 2005. Jim could have been told something else and it is pretty clear that he was. There was also a huge tax issue when Jim's lawyer returned the check. Which would not have affected Jim in 2006. Everyone around me was so upset . I tried, I really did to clam them down and get everyone on my side to try and make it work . If I remember right through March. Sonenberg and Kovac were at war a very ugly war. It all then went to hell. People keep asking why weren't certain songs recorded , ask the other side. I don't hate Sonenberg, I don't hate anyone, but I'm not happy with what he did to my life and my family from 1981-1983. Anyone who wants, can believe I am the Devil and others are angels ,they can also believe in the easter Bunny, tooth fairy and Santa Clause and are free to do so. Meat | |
