This thread sounds perfect for me to introduce myself and my delightful series of humorous murder mysteries! I post about every six months on this board, but I've been watching the site since it's inception many, many years ago.
My series is about a cop with the Minneapolis police department (located in Minnesota, U.S.A., for you international folks). He's so bad at his job, he hires his own private detective to solve his cases for him. Oh, and he also has a love for puns and power ballads (I wonder where that inspiration came from?!) The first book, "A Grand Ol' Murder" takes place on Grand Avenue in Saint Paul. The second book, "The Case of the Unnecessary Sequel," is about a murder on the film set of 'Fargo 2: Midwest Bugaloo.' "A Prairie Homicidal Companion" is coming in September.
