I like it. It sounds organic, warts and all complete with breathing and gum smacking. This is what Meat sounds like today. Not as polished as HCTB but much better song choice and lyrics. I think if you heard Meat's vocals from the tour before he got to Australia he was "on" more than "off", but he has often been hit or miss even during his heyday(s) of '78 and '93 where he got worse as the tour dragged on. Singing Jim songs day after day has got to be hard on the vocal chords. I'd like to hear him record "Body" with Jim's arrangement and his HCTB voice.
