| Getting to know so many of Jim's fans has been as thrilling as the music in many ways and has enriched my life so much. I have true friends all over the world now. Back during the list days I would print every single post and fax them to Jim each night. At the end of the week I'd have them spiral bound and sent them to him. Jim (I'm sure) has them all still somewhere. Since they he's got the internet and now checks the message board himself - but I still email a lot of the threads to him. I'd love the idea of a quick catch up (or "new meeting") if people want to take the time and post. My last 10 years have been pretty great. I married a second time to the love of my life. I split my time between NY and London. My kids are now 18 and 20 and I love the young people they are soooo much. Having kids was/is the great joy of my life. I also have two wonderful stepchildren now as well. The only downside is that my dad is getting old and hasn't been in the best of health. I lost my mom 13 years ago and I don't want my dad to age another day. It scares me because he is such a part of my daily life and the life of my sisters and children. At 45 I feel really blessed and really happy. Life is good. And you all? JD PS - I have the best dog on the planet as well...even if he does smell like dog. :) | |
