| Oh I had noticed that, and I also noticed the fact that he slurs his speech slightly... I just decided, considering what a rare treat it is to see footage of Jim... let alone hear him speak... that that would not be something on which I would place emphasis... I assumed that he is aware of this, and that it strenghtens his desire not to lead a life in the public eye... and chose to be happy with what I received, rather than risk making him (more) uncomfortable about his appearance... or risk seeming ungrateful. I suppose in this discussion it all depends on your definition of illness... I repeat... Jim did not appear ill to me in that video. Yes, it is known, and painfully obvious, that the man has had a stroke (or perhaps a series of strokes)... but to me, that does not mean that he cannot be in perfect health right now! To me, he bears the physical signs of someone who has been ill in the past, of someone upon whom this illness has left certain marks... but he does not appear ill to me at present... (In the same sense that a person who has been injured in an accident can be in perfect health... there is a difference between bearing scars and being ill!) That said... assuming that what we think to be true actually is true... namely that the stroke(s) were caused by his heart problems... and that more recent rumours, combined with his recent weight loss, indicate that he has taken steps towards a healthier lifestyle... I would consider the chances of him having another stroke to be slimmer now than they were back then... considering that the obvious cause has been removed... SO NO, I did not and do not think he looks ill... a bit worse for wear perhaps... but then, don't we all? -K- > Just watch him leaving the stage. I Don't think he sounded > or looked bad!
