| Bart, I'm not sure if WPoMBHtM is dependent on Meat Loaf to make it a hit. I think it's a great song, but would like a rewrite with the following suggestions: I want another verse! And I want it to be just as catchy as the first with wordiness that is catchy because of the way the words fit with the melody. 2. I want the bridge listing the body parts ala eyes, lips, etc. to be entirely rewritten so that it either waxes poetic like the bridge in IKYIYDCB or the final part of IWDAFL... or is directly addresses the theme of the song so that the listener goes click and says "awwww." I think the former is better than the latter because it won't interfere with the songs role as a dream engine. 3. Make a little clearer, but not necessarily obvious, what is meant by "come a little closer now, and we'll see." The song kind of feels like someone started telling you a story in the middle of the story. That's fine, but it may distract from the emotional impact if we can't even form a full image of what's going on... it's like were trying to be lead to a scene and our reaction isn't going to be "woah, that's moving," but "wait, what am I supposed to be seeing here... I'm confused... where is Waldo?" Still a great song as it stands. With a few changes, it should have been the first single from Bat Out of Hell III as produced by Jim Steinman with Steven Rinkoff engineering. I like the heartbeat groove version, but I'd throw in more guitars as it ummm... climaxes.
