When it comes to BFG, it's a case-by-case scenario for me
The Storm. Well, there's never been any other interpretation except for "Tanz" and that's not complete.
Bad For Good. Hell, yes, I prefer Jim's
Lost Boys And Golden Girls. I prefer Meat's because his vocal is stronger. I didn't much care for Rory's vocals on BFG
Love And Death And An American Guitar. I prefer Wasted Youth because it's fuller and has more sound effects
Stark Raving Love. I like it but not that much
Out Of The Frying Pan (And Into The Fire). I prefer Meat's because the production is much fuller and Meat's vocal is stronger and more convincing
Surf's Up. This is a toughy. The production on BFG is perfect but Meat's vocals on BA are better than Rory's. It's a shame we never got to hear Meat sing it this way
Dance In My Pants. Again, I don't have another version to compare it to.
Left In The Dark. For me, nothing has come close to Jim's version
Rock And Roll Dreams Come Through. While I think the BFG version is lighter and more theatrical, there's something about Meat's that I prefer.
