Just came home from a little walk in Mannheim with Antonina, where they had a huge Marathon this evening with many stages along the route. At the towns landmark - The Old Watertower - was a stage where a band called Brass Machine was playing. Before I saw the stage I thought a DJ would play some cool old music. The song at this moment was "Music" by John Miles, one of my all time favourites and a real classic! But then we saw the stage and realized that it was a live interpretation. And what a great singer they had. After watching them for a while I said to Antonina that I think I knew who this singer is. And later, when they introduced themselves to the audience my thought was confirmed. It was Sascha Krebs. After the show I talked with him for a little while and when I reminded him of the DOTV boot he once received when I attended a solo show by him he seemed to remember me.
Right now he´s a member of the We Will Rock You shows in Cologne and Zurich and one day he´s in Germany and the other day in Switzerland. Still a nice guy.
Got to go and see the show one day.
