I wonder what the front cover art would have looked like for a Meat and Jim version. Jim conceived the art for the original Bat. I think both Meat and Jim worked on the idea for Bat 2. Then Richard Corben and Michael Whelan painted them. But what would the idea have been for their bat? The Last at Bat, something with a sense of finality about it.
