I’m wondering who was supposed to be left victorious, the motorcycle riding man (for lack of a better name) or the bat? I feel it would have to be the bat. I’m guessing Jim would prefer something with the bat. I just can’t imagine what it would’ve been. I could envision the man actually dying in a pit as mentioned at the end of the song, with the bat flying away with his heart in his mouth.
