| Jim Steinman is through. It's a shame that he got shut out of the Bat Out of Hell III album -- how that must sting even after close to a year. Shame on you Meat Loaf, although in all honesty had the roles been reversed I think Steinman would have done the same to you. Perhaps Steinman will finish the musical he claims to be working on, or maybe he will finish the novel that he has been working on for how long only he knows. The fans thirst for something new, and when that creation is given to them they will take it in with wonder and awe, unconcerned with the fact that the rest of the world no longer cares. Steinman and Meat Loaf -- together their careers started off with a bang and at the top of the world; apart, their guns are exhausted and the bullets are blanks.... and only the true fans will know that they are gone.... | |
