I think they need to get another producer in quick to re-work it, as the arrangement just plods, and there's no 'hook' (which you need for Eurovision). The tempo needs raising slightly, and as a nod towards 'Eclipse', I would start the song with a piano riff into piano rather than the bland acoustic guitars. Rock guitars in on the first chorus, and then throughout, and then a brief (8 bar) solo after the mid8. Also after the 'believe in me' lines in the choruses, I would have big answer BV's 'if you'd only, if you'd only believe in me'. Hey ho. | |
