So do you think Jim is right that a musical based on the first two BOOH albums should be about Peter Pan? > I'm just saying that Jim's songs are all passion... and > that Meat's songs have become about doing the right > thing... and have been rather weak, carefully worded and > safe lately... I thought "I'd Do Anything For Love" was a magnificent single and video but the first single release off the next album was "I'd Lie For You" by Diane Warren. I thought it was a very safe song that attempted to imitate Jim's style (but in a safe way). It didn't take the chances that "I'd Do Anything For Love" did. > There's nothing wrong with either... but the rebel boy has > become a grown man... and I dread the moment when this man > tries to convince himself (and everyone else) that he's > still a rebellious boy... I guess he could play Hook now. > I've said it before and I'll say it again... Meat lost his > edge when he lost his anger... Interesting. And he really did have an edge at one point. > did that make any sense at all??? Yes. It did. Thank you. | |
