Since it's a collection of material written for prior projects, no one should expect it to hang together. Meat needed to be attached to the project to sell it, but unfortunately his voice is not what it used to be. Still, the music is pure Steinman, and not having easy access to some of his theater work, it was refreshing to hear some new Steinman, always hitting the marks, always creative, always experimenting. Was also fun to hear Ellen and Carla again.
