That's an awesome bit of information. I wanted to buy the original LP, but I was not in the most conducive social sphere at the time. Buying it could have gotten me my skull cracked. So, I'm sorry to say I have all of this catching up to do. What I came into this as a newcomer was that Jim shows himself singing the song on the video. I saw that on MTV. When I found this site, I downloaded the video here and found it to be the same as the MTV video, with Jim singing. So, how was I to ever think anything to the effect that it would be someone else singing? Later on, much later on, long after I gave it any thought at all, along comes Jim and gives this huge telling of all kinds of things I had no reason to remember of so many details. It was like the sky opened and his thoughts came down like a downpour of rain. Years later, I came upon the album again. While listening to it, the vocal of the song RnR matched the vocal of the video. Again, no reason existed for me to doubt. Eventually, I became very very sure I was right about who was singing it. And, I'm still sure, but you have the EP. I'm confident that the EP recording is the same vocal as on the video that is downloadable from this site. What if the EP is wrong; suppose, that Jim changed the recording after the EP cover went to press, and it turned out to be his vocal after all? Or what if the person who gave the info for the EP jacket, made a clerical error and Jim was not able to correct it? How amenable are you to re-assessing your perceptions of these songs? > > I would if I had a scanner.
