I do not play a piano but grew up with one in my home. I was unable to learn piano for some physical and neurological limitations. However, I did use the piano keys for vocal exercises and range measurement where I measured my own vocal range once to be five octaves plus two notes.

Vocal, I sang from the time I was five years of age, up to and through the time when I had formal training by private coaches I found via my schools, in addition to participations in chorus. I have never attempted to sing professionally. Some information about key structures were derived by a guitar instructor, and some from Jim as well.

I don't have a high degree of knowledge but like some rudimentary spanish I can speak a few important phrases like have a nice day.

I hear better than I can describe. But I describe how I can.
