You are probably one of the most intelligent people on this board. I've seen your website and am impressed by your family and your devotion to the things that keep you all together. I never was in the SCA but I've known others in it and I love history. I see that you have done work that you could feel proud of. You made it clear that the only Steinman related play you could put on was Confidence Man, and you did it with a faith that it would be highly appreciated. You could not have known that it was not a loved and prefered project of Jim's, but that does not belittle your achievement with it in any way.
You have a really good sense of humor, and I enjoyed the mock interview you made. When I needed to laugh, it made me laugh. I know you have nothing but bad to say about me and I do not understand that but I also do not hold that against you. I might if someone decided to act according to your irrational wish.
I do not like your avatar. It looks like the man from Oz, saying do not pay any attention to that man behind the curtain, which I believe would be you, because you really look like a gentle humble man just like the real Wizard of Oz. So, I'd pick something more representative of the sensitive man I think you are. I wish you'd lighten up, I'm not going to ruin your universe. I certainly am not trying to.
