Hear, hear about restoring "Totale Finsternis" to its full length! One of the most disappointing things, for me, is that with each successive production of "Tanz", more bits of it are falling by the wayside. Now, significant parts of the Act I finale appear to have gone missing. :-(
At the after-show cast party in Budapest, some of us DID mention to Steve Rinkoff that, if a London production or a film adaptation eventually happens, we would hope that they go back to using the full versions of all of Jim's songs. However, he said Jim's camp really has no influence on these decisions, which are generally made by the producers and predicated on budgetary considerations (which sort of sucks!).
