I haven't seen any of the shows myself, so I'm not one to judge, really. I'm only going on clips that are all over the place. He sounds horrible. I heard a version of "Took The Words" that was the most terrible pass for a live concert I've ever encountered. What was even more scary was that the audience were cheering, WTF?? They boo'd Judy Garland in London in the 1960s and she probably sang waay better than that. If it was me, even being the big die-hard, I'd have walked out and demanded my money back. Everything I've seen so far is dreadful.

The whole enterprise sucked. "The Monster Is Loose" should have been that, really, with either NO Bat III or Meat and Jim working out their issues for "Final At Bat" followed by a one-off engagement at the Royal Albert Hall or something. Meat still sounds great in the studio but if he wants to continue to sing, he really should just go to the studio and have done with it. Forget about the tour.

It's a shame, anyway. He's wasting his time singing songs by a songwriter who doesn't really seem to give a shit about him anymore. The songs have been played live hundreds and thousands of times, wouldn't you be over it at some point?? He could be using this time to star in some major Hollywood success, something prestigious like Helen Mirren in "The Queen". Meat could be the fucken next Laurence Olivier and here he is slaving away on something that's ancient history. It's horrible. Because he's such a great GREAT actor and he's doing this shit, promoting that pathetic album which the record company completely screwed up. What's the point?

Plenty of film-makers probably want to work with him. He should be doing that.
