"Take Me Back" isn't a Steinman song > but the production is very "Steinman". I'm a bit torn > about "More". I also had the impression that "Original > Sin" and "Total Eclipse..." were sort of in competition > with one another? But I guess the song should be included > because it was featured in a well-known film > Sadly, Loving You... did indeed bomb big time in the UK and "Secret Dreams..." didn't fair that well either as a result, despite the late addition of "Holding out for a Hero" when it became a hit about 6 months before the album was released. Bonnie did an interview at the time and stated she would eat her hat if "Loving You..." wasn't a hit eventually, as it was too good to fail. I'm still waiting to see this! Interestingly enough (or maybe not - it might be common knowledge!), she also stated that Jim wanted to call the album "Ravishing" but she changed the title to "Secret Dreams...". | |
