To be honest I'm completely the opposite, I think it's one of Meats worst attempts at a Jim song without Jim. I'd even place Meats attempt at (I've got vomit coming up in my mouth thinking about this) It's All Coming Back To me Now above his attempt at Surf's Up.
Reason being, Surf's Up is one of my all time favourite Jim songs and if isn't going to be done right then it shouldn't be done at all. It's sounds to tinny and hollow, which has been mentioned before.
That being said, I'd probably give my redundant left nut for a DVD quality version of the music video.
