a crazy bat 3 theory...

this just came to my mind, and weird as I am, I thought about it more and more, and it actually made sense to me.
It's most likely just bullshit, but tell me what you think about my thoughts.

Meat and Des wanted Bat3 to have songs by Jim and Des. But des couldnt write enough songs to fill the rest of the album to get to roughly 80 mins. They werent allowed to use any more Jim stuff. Apparently they recorded Only when I feel, but couldnt use it. As Des couldnt come up with anything decent, they had to hire a third songwriter. But they needed someone who would work without being properly credited, as the cover would have to say "songs by Jim Steinman, Desmond Child and xxx" then, and that would look ridiculous.
Now here comes Diane Warren into the game. She writes a song for them to put on the album, but instead of being credited properly for it, she demands to have her song released as a single (and maybe get a share of the single's profits). That way they got enough songs, still could go with 'songs by js and dc' and we got COM, the weakest song on the album as second single. (which, let's face it, marketing wise is suicide).
The record company promised Ms Warren a single, but knowing the song was crap probably the last one released.
Now after IACBTMN didnt go as good as they hoped, and they already started promo for BAAB heavily, they decided to keep it with those two songs, so to satisfy Ms Warren had to swap the 2nd single at the last minute.

Now, am I losing my marbles or does that make sense to anyone?
