When I did my karaoke version of "Heaven Can Wait," I used the amazing mp3 made by Steven (who used to post here occasionally). I recorded it with Audacity so that I could have two tracks, the mp3 and my recorded vocals. I turned on the "play while recording" setting and put on headphones so that I could follow along but the mike wouldn't pick up the music. No quality lost. Send me an email if that doesn't make sense, and I'll give you a more detailed explanation (email link in my profile). Have fun!
