I know what you mean about how you made it. Ill do something similar.

Im going to be recording myself singing first. Ill plug that audio in my video/audio editing program Adobe Premiere CS 3 on one track then put the MP3 on a second. Ill play around with the levels so it sounds natural then save it as one piece. My biggest issue with the software is that you cant use Midi's so at one point I was going to record the midi music playing from speakers with the mic then save them as MP3s. Problem was the quality would take a big hit.

The MP3 you shared is just what I needed to skip the midi recording step.

Good job with your recording. It sounds nice. Im not sure how mine will turn out as I never really sing, but I think itll be something fun to try. If it stinks Ill just let this thread sink to the bottom til no one remembers it... lol.
