He wasn't saying that four years ago.

Meat had to much creative control over the production of the album that's why it was a piece of crap. If Jim had been the producer he would have been told to sit in the corner which is what happened when they made Bat 1 and 2. It's the best place for him. He hasn't got a clue about producing, and Desmond Child was in it for the money and nothing more.
