He makes a similar statement in this extract from the Daily Mail article that I posted in the thread below. 'Everything surrounding that third Bat Out Of Hell album was wrong - it was a negative time,' he says. 'But I've always been a fighter. As soon as I felt better, I fired everyone around me and started all over again. It was the best thing I've ever done.' Why did he fire everyone around him? It wasn't their fault that he decided to work on a Bat project with Desmond Childs instead of Jim. Why didn't he fire himself by retiring gracefully? Did he actually fire "everyone"? What about Kasim? Or wasn't he working on that tour? I think Conas hits the nail on the head when he says that Meat wasn't saying these things four years ago. | |
