| Yeah, but here's the mindfuck: these things he would never do *for love*, presumably. But one wonders then if he would ever do them for any other reason. Like vengeance, money or aesthetic satisfaction, for example. And some of these things, it wouldn't make any sense to do them for love, anyway. Like, if you love her, why on earth would you forget the way she feels right now, oh no, no way? Its sort of like telling your sweetheart that you'll never slit her throat while she's sleeping, and you would do anything for love, but you won't do that. Well fuck all, she should sure hope not, right? If you're trying to seal the deal, that's not exactly going above and beyond the call of duty, Romeo. To more or less quote Chris Rock, some people are always looking for credit for some shit they're just SUPPOSED to do. Or in this case, supposed to NOT do.
