| Eric, I always liked the idea of the 2006 Bat II, but rumours of it's relative poor quality always put me off, might have to invest now! This whole issue came up for me just the other day as I'm into Iron Maiden and it turns out that the 1998 'Eddie's Head' remasters (the only ones I've ever heard!) were poor reproductions of the original cd pressings. I'm always partial to a little Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards too so thanks for the heads up re disco! Another thing - I wonder if one were to digitise the vinyl versions of Dead Ringer and Bad For Good on a good enough system these would be superior to the CDs...? I'll have a pop myself and see what the results are. > Hey thanks so much--speculation from a fellow fan is > always welcome. > > I have to say the Pandora's Box remaster is one of the > most "compressed" (I guess that's the term) remaster I > know of.
