they put a lot of effort into these shows, for sure it will be great. but i wonder: do they actually have to BUY copyrights for these songs, or does meat or jim or any company get money for that? and what does meat feel about it, when some youngster with a less aged voice sings the songs HE actually tries to perform at the very moment? and why does this guy look similiar to steve steinman? and has a comparable, rather thin, weak voice and great body language?! it seems to me that these tribute bands have developped an own style, somehow steinman-influenced, but never really hitting the point, as if they have traditionlized a kind of "wrong" copy. do you know what i mean? i'm doubting the whole project, but i'm totally in favour of spreading jim's music!, and they seem to try to make it as steinmanesque as possible, which is GREAT | |
