I don't think they have to give Meat anything to perform, but they may have to if they market it using his name or likeness (e.g. the Meat Loaf font)

If Jim still owns the songs then they have to pay him a performance fee (unless the laws in Australia are different) but I think I might have read somewhere that Jim sold the rights to some of his songs a while back. I might just be making that up though. :confused smiley or bullshit smiley:
