Quick reply to all I've read here...
1. Jim HAS HAD health problems... we all know that... we also know that he has recovered and is working hard... and that some people cannot let the past be the past and move on...
2. Jim's health issues were (according to Meat) part of the reason why he was not involved in making Bat III...
3. I really really hope Jim does not work with Meat again, and have a lot of reasons for it... mostly:
a. Jim doesn't need it.. he's got loads of other projects by the sound of it... and most of them will be better than anything Meat can handle at this point...
b. as for Meat... I have tremendous respect for him as a performer, but I think he's past his prime vocally... and have lost all respect for him as a person over the years...
Insecure bloody diva... makes dealing with Elton John look like a piece of cake :) (Tantrums & Tiaras anyone??)
c. Then there's Hell in a Handbasket. Easily Meat's BEST album without Jim... but have you listened to those lyrics??
If anyone grew up musically, it's Meat... and boys who grow up cannot return to
4. In response to the 'words, words, words' posts...
I don't think anyone will be surprised when I say I love Jim and his music... I accept that he is slow cause I think his stuff is worth waiting for... and I choose to believe that things are happening...
Oh and Meat... with a songwriter like Jim... you don't need to get lucky... and Rolling in the Deep setting the bar kinda low, don't you think???
