No 'Bat out of Hell IV', please!! Two were enough and classics. The third was a good Meat Loaf album (I like the non Steinman songs)like 'Bad Attitude' is a good Meat Loaf album but all the Steinman songs were lifeless compared to original versions in my opinion, so I skip them when I listen to that album. Let the 'Bat out of Hell' name rest in peace...until it (hopefully) comes bursting out of a graveyard once again when the musical opens!! :) > b. as for Meat... I think Jim spends the necessary time writing the songs (however long it takes) until their are up to his standards. He's said in interviews that it's an agonizing process for him...so it takes time. And like you said I also think his songs are always worth waiting for. The quality remains the same in my opinion. I'm still enjoying listening to all the demos released last year. That was a nice gesture to fans waiting for new stuff... | |
