I have read a few books by Psychic Sylvia Browne and she talks about past lives all the time. It is possible that Jim and Susan (or whatever she wants to be called) were lovers in a past life.
There is all kinds of stuff in Heaven, a hall of records, the scanning machine, the towers, the orientation center, the hall of wisdom and the gardens.
